John Reid Launches New Ad Highlighting Stark Contrast with Ghazala Hashmi

HENRICO, Va. — Today, John Reid for Lieutenant Governor, announced the launch of a new television ad, “Balance,” which begins airing via streaming platforms as part of a Reid’s recent six-figure media ad buy. 

The message: John Reid will be a check on Richmond’s political class while Ghazala votes and sides with out of touch radicals.

“For too long, politicians in both parties have been more interested in their own power than helping families,” Reid says in the ad. “I’m running to be a voice for all Virginians. Ghazala Hashmi? She’s running for her radical priorities.”

The spot details Hashmi’s support for policies Virginians reject, including tuition for illegal immigrants and lighter penalties for assaults on police officers.

“As lieutenant governor, I’ll be a check and balance in Richmond,” Reid concludes in the ad.

The ad is part of Reid’s ongoing Real Virginia Agenda, a campaign effort to focus on real solutions for working families, stronger schools, safer communities, and a government that respects taxpayers.
