“I first met John when, at Nancy Reagan's behest, he spoke at the Fourth of July ceremonies at the Statue of Liberty in 1986. I admired John immediately, and since then, my admiration for him has only grown. He is one of the finest men of character that I have ever known, and veterans could not ask for a better elected official to represent them and champion their causes.” — CDR Paul Galanti, USN (ret.), fmr. Virginia Commissioner of Veterans Services.

“As a Veteran, I had the fortune to work with John when we both worked for Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. We were able to do some great work on behalf of Veterans and his tireless efforts helped pass The Clay Hunt Act in Congress. John is a servant leader who will work everyday to be a Lieutenant Governor for all Virginians.” — LCDR Matt Miller, United States Navy Veteran

“John and I met when we both were working on Capitol Hill decades ago -- and we've been good friends ever since. Firsthand, I've seen how much he cares about the military and those who have served therein. Veterans are in good hands with John as their representative in office; I trust him and his judgment implicitly.” — LT Don Bramer, USN (ret.)

John is one of the most humble men I've ever met. He sets the standards and I look forward to voting for him in November! He cares about Veterans and has proving that with his words and actions. He is respectful of what we have done to keep our country safe and free!” — SPC David Harris, United States Army Veteran
